Raider Alliance RvR raid last evening with potiental ally guild Wanderers, helped return Three T4 keeps to Order control! While “waiting” on the zone to be ready for lock, we had a wild hair and went on a Chicken run to complete the “Run Don’t Bawk” quest from Avelorn. The following is a video Stalos (Dawn Eternal) made of the alliance chickens at work! After the chickens had their fill, we went back into T4 for more victories and then several hours of Land of the Dead RvR, Quests, and Public Quests. Thanks to Ferick of Wanderers for his expert explaintion of how and what to do, as he led our band through Land of the Dead!

Raider Chickens

In the Guild Hall Adyra sat deliberating in her high back chair at her desk in the study. It was thundering out, a foreboding thunder it seemed. And if the recent dispatches were true there was an evil stirring, an evil they would rise to fight even while fighting off the hordes of destruction. A faint breeze made her lantern flicker, sending slight shadows wandering across the guild records laid out before her. Having dipped her quill in ink she wrote out a few recent additions to the guild Records.
Grimbones, Iron Breaker, promoted to Veteran upon his 40th season.
Bekka, Rune Priestess, promoted to Scion upon her 40th season and renown rank 40.

Turing a few pages to Alliance business, she wrote in recent activity.
Raider Alliance officers welcome the addition of two guilds.
The Sentinels lead by Alenea
Order of the Monkey lead by Brannan

Laying down her quill, Adyra picked up the guild financial accounts. Pondering their lack of funds she began to plan a line of events and quests that perhaps would provide the coin they would need in coming months.

Vesta smiled. Before her was one slightly inebriated dwarf celebrating the accomplishment of 40 long seasons of training. A cheer resounded through the square as passersby joined into the fray, and eagerly tapped the keg that Vesta had provided her friend for just such an occasion. Vesta was on her second pint of the very fine Dwarven Ale and enjoying every sip, but she was no dwarf! and certainly no match for Ulv’s consumption. “The foam in his beard means he’s enjoying it” a passing Witch Hunter said with a laugh, to which Ulv cheered a bit too loud and proceeded to fill his stein again. (No doubt he’d also refilled his travel keg, and an assortment of likely hidden caches with the fine Ale) Standing on a crate, Vesta raised her mug high and toasted the achievement of Ulv the Iron Breaker.
Adyra nodded and with a smile toasted Ulv as well! “Congratulations on your 40th season. May you always have a healer behind you and a slain enemy at your feet!”

Vesta sat at Sigmar’s Hammer, and watched as the great hall was prepared for the banquet. Everyone was here, and no expense had been spared! The Cellars had been opened for the finest Dwarven Ale, a beast was roasting on a spit on the porch (much to the chagrin of the flightmaster!), the High Elves had brought a fine Mead that was likened to the nectar of the gods, and a flame worthy of Aqshy herself blazed in the hearth.

Before her lay a copy of the Altdorf herald praising the accomplishments of Vaur and Orlie Thorndragell on the fields of battle. No doubt a cryer had already been dispatched to their hometown of Jordheim. Vesta smiled as she thought of the celebrations that would await them there! She laughed right out loud as she wondered how such warriors had earned the titles “The Bully” and “The Weed Whacker” - No doubt from bullying and whacking at the destruction horde.

Upon hearing a resounding cheer, Vesta stood, knowing that the guests of honour had arrived. (Together, of course!)

Adyra stood at the front of the hall, and welcomed them with a warm smile. “Hail and well met Vaur and Orlie of clan Thorndragell. A toast to your recent achievement! Come and dine!”

Adyra sat at the corner table with a lukewarm bitter beanbrew, pouring over a dimly lit map of the Tunnels and Crypts beneath the city. “Rats!” she cursed under her breath as she examined the layout, and realised just how much work it was going to be to cleanse it for the Light.

A cheer startled her out of her gloom, and looking up she noted that the whole tavern was alive with merriment and celebrations. This was not the usual glee over half priced Dwarven Ale… this seemed like something truly epic. Standing, she saw the object of their praise. Anadrius Eisbrechter had entered the tavern along with his faithful companion Sayge Mizzrym.

There was a gleam to Anadrius’ armour that shone even brighter than normal, his aura one of pride and satisfaction after 40 seasons of training and service. By his side, Sister Sayge could be seen saying a prayer of thanks for having completed her 40 seasons of training as well.

They left as conscripts and came back from WAR! as seasoned veterans. Looking down at the map, Adyra no longer felt as concerned about the tasks that lay ahead, and pushing her now cold beanbrew aside- waved to the barkeep for a Mead with which to join in the celebrations.
She raised her stein high. “To Anadrius, Knight of the Blazing Sun and To Sayge, Warrior Priestess of Sigmar!”

Kerrel Ironbeard, Iron Breaker, of Karaz-a-Karak has attained his 40th season of training! And that wouldn’t be “The Avenging Brewer’s” only accomplishment, he also boasts 200 skill in Cultivating and 200 skill in apothicary! <holds stein high> Here’s to Kerrel! May your axe kill many an enemy and your brews keep many an ally in the battle longer!
